Filoxenia, intercultural-environmental organization based in Kryoneri, hosted the second module of the training series „Krzyżowa Model goes Greece” of the Kreisau-Initiative e.V. 31 people from Poland, Greece, Czech Republic, Germany, and Romania gathered in Kryoneri, to deal with the topic of inclusion in international youth work.
In the beginning, the participants came to a common understanding of the term „inclusion” through self-reflexion, discussions in small groups, and creative methods. Then, they exchanged their own experiences in their respective home countries and professional contexts.
One of the key points of the training course was to learn art education methods which help encourage and get inclusive groups active. In order to reach this goal, the educators took part in two workshops (mosaic and manual arts).
Many highlights happened also in free time. During a village game, the participants engaged in an exchange with local people, during the breaks they enjoyed common mud baths in the river, and during the half-day trip, they discovered exceptional places in Korinth and spent the evening at a beach.
The project was co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
